The Overhead Door Standard Drive chain garage door opener is a value priced DC powered opener. This no frills model is suitable for most single and double car sectional garage doors. The Standard Drive Chain is a good value for the dollar and is similar to the Overhead Door Standard Drive Belt model.
Like its belt drive sibling, the lower price point for this chain drive model is achieved by offering less features and accessories. The Standard Drive Chain model includes a 60 watt single light system, a 1-Button remote control and a lighted wall button (like a door bell) to open and close the door from inside the garage.
This model features Overhead Door's quick and easy SmartSet™ limit settings, CodeDodger® rolling code technology and the full complement of Safe-T-Beam® self diagnostic safety features.
Overhead Door Standard Drive Chain - Benefits of DC Power
The DC powered motor offers soft start and stop for quieter operation and less wear and tear on your garage door. Another Standard Drive Chain feature is the DualDrive™ chain system that uses two gears to transfer power from the DC motor to the lifting mechanism.
Like other Overhead Door models, the Standard Drive Chain is compatible with HomeLink® and Car2U® vehicle-based universal remote systems. Upgraded remote controls and wall controls are available.
NOTE: A rail extension kit is necessary if your garage door is more than 7' 6" tall.
