Linear Garage Door Opener
Model LS050

"As expected, the Linear garage door opener model LD050 includes the illuminated deluxe
wall-mounted control panel and a 3-button remote control transmitter."

The Linear garage door opener model LS050 is a Premium Model 1/2 HP medium duty garage door opener that can be installed with a chain drive or belt drive lifting mechanism. This 1/2 HP model is very similar to the LD050 with its mid-level power and lifetime motor and belt warranty, but the "Premium" moniker indicates the addition of another 100 watt (max.) light, bringing total maximum wattage to 200. While this may not seem like a big deal, twice the light can be very helpful on a dark, dreary day.

Linear Model LS050Like its nearly identical Model LD050 twin (except for the additional light), the Linear garage door opener model LS050 is suitable for lifting most single and double car garage doors. For the heaviest of carriage house and solid wooden garage doors, look at Linear's most powerful LC075 3/4 HP model.

As expected, the Linear garage door opener model LD050 includes the illuminated deluxe wall-mounted control panel and a 3-button remote control transmitter. The control panel's large buttons, courtesy light switch and "vacation mode" (to disable the remote control transmitters when you are away) are also standard fare for this model.

The full complement of Linear security and safety features are included with this and every Linear residential opener. Features include the infrared sensing beam, rolling code technology to prevent the theft of your opening code, and the "park" feature that allows you to stop the garage door in an open position during the opening or closing cycle for ventilation or access (for your small pet, for example).

NOTE: All Linear garage door openers are sold through a professional dealer network. Door rails are available for 7, 8 or 10 foot tall garage doors.
