The Liftmaster garage door opener model 3800 is a wall-mounted residential jackshaft garage door opener designed to maximize overhead garage space. Because the jackshaft model mounts on the wall beside your garage door, it is ideal for oversized garage doors, garages with cathedral ceilings, to accommodate more overhead storage or for those cases where a standard opener won't work.

The LiftMaster Model 3800 operates with a powerful 24 Volt DC motor, has a smooth start and stop feature that reduces opening and closing noise, and offers the option of adding LiftMaster's EverCharge® standby power system. The EverCharge® system will open and close your garage door if the power goes out, will continue operating the opener’s security and safety features and will recharge when the power comes back on.

This uniquely designed and engineered Liftmaster model is part of the professionally installed line from Chamberlain and has received the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval. As with all LiftMaster residential openers, the Model 3800 is equipped with the full complement of safety an security features, including Security+® rolling code remotes, the Protector System® invisible light beam to reverse the door if anything interrupts the beam during the opening and closing cycle, and sensing technology to stop the door if it contacts an object or a person..
