The Liftmaster garage door opener model 3280 is a 1/2 HP belt drive garage door opener with a steel reinforced belt and Motor Vibration Isolation System for smooth and quiet operation. One of Liftmaster's Premium Series garage door openers, the model 3280 is a smooth and quiet option for homes with living space above or adjacent to the garage.
The Liftmaster model 3280 is part of Chamberlain's professionally installed line and is suitable for most single and double car garage doors. For the ultimate in powerful, quiet operation, you may also want to consider the 3/4 HPS® DC powered Liftmaster model 3850 or the 3/4 HP Liftmaster model 3585. This 1/2 HP Liftmaster model includes the patented Motor Vibration Isolation System (MVIS®) engineered to eliminate power head vibration, solid T-rail that automatically adjusts belt tension, and Liftmaster's enhanced belt drive system providing a more secure belt grip. As with all Liftmaster garage door opener models for the residential market, the model 3280 has also received the Good Housekeeping seal of approval.
