Genie Power Lift Excelerator Garage Door Opener

"The Genie Power LIft screw drive models are engineered
with a solid steel screw drive for maximum strength and longer life."

The Genie Power Lift Excelerator garage door opener is a 1/2 HP screw drive model from Genie that opens twice as fast as other garage door openers. The strong DC powered motor offers 1000 Newtons of lifting force to quietly lift the heaviest single and double car garage doors. The Excelerator® performance reduces wait time to enter and exit your garage, yet still closes at normal speed with gentle starts and stops so as not to damage your garage door.

The Genie Power LIft screw drive models are engineered with a solid steel screw drive for maximum strength and longer life. They are also Genie's quietest screw drive openers with tough polymer rail liners that eliminate the noisy metal to metal contact. This quieting feature makes the PowerLift™ suitable for use in garages with living space above. PowerLift™ models are also designed for installation directly against the ceiling, making them usable in low clearance scenarios.Genie Excelerator

As with all Genie garage door openers, the Genie Power Lift come with numerous safety and security features. Intellicode® rolling code technology changes the electronic access code automatically after every opening and closing cycle and the Safe-T-Beam® self diagnostic system stops and reverses the garage door if something interrupts its operation.

The Genie Power Lift Excelerator comes standard with two 3-button remote controls, a deluxe wall console and exterior Wireless Keypad, as well as a limited lifetime warranty on the motor. Genie Power Lift models are also compatible with the HomeLink® system, making it possible to operate your garage door with the HomeLink® button in your car if it is equipped with this system.

Consumers are generally happy with the Genie Power Lift Excelerator, consistently rating it with an average of 4 to 4.5 out of 5 stars on most sites. Just remember to buy a rail extension kit if your garage door is taller than the "standard" seven feet.
