Gambrel Shed

This gambrel shed is a very common and popular design. The barn look gives even city dwellers a taste of the farm life and does an excellent job as a storage shed.

Built with the flavor of an old New England barn, this rounded roof gambrel wooden shed is very attrractive and interesting to look at. When you decide to buy or build your own shed, this style could work in a rural setting, on your farm or even in the city.

One disadvantage of the gambrel shed design is the slightly narrowed area for the double doors. Depending on the width of the shed, this may or may not be an issue.

Another consideration of this design is the lower side walls, leaving less room for hanging storage or storage shelves. The taller the shed, the less this becomes a problem.
