Forgotten and Lonely Storage Shed

This may have been a useful storage shed at one time, but it appears to be lonely and long forgotten. It looks like something that once stored farm equipment, or even an old car.

Notice the large deciduous tree just to the right. Then picture a bustling farm house with a wide front porch, dormers overlooking the front yard and a long, dirt driveway leading to the gate. There are long-horned cattle grazing just outside the gate, and off in the distance you can see a field of mature wheat swaying with the gentle breeze.

If you don't see the same picture I do, that's great. I just happen to love the farm life and stories of those hard working families who made a living from the land.

This picture is nothing like the metal storage shed you find in most back yards, but the story runs much deeper...at least for me. If you see a different picture, I would love to hear from you.
